KNAPWEED 2, MOUNTAIN BLUET

Carduus tribe of the daisy family. Trouble free plants, many silver leeved; compound flowers, generally purple, in globular thistle or cornflower like heads within papery bracts.

The Mountain Bluet has lance shaped greyish leaves and blue flowers.
